Finding the Right People for Network Marketing Success

You may have heard it said many times in network marketing trainings that you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person, and you can’t say the right thing to the wrong person. This was one of the things I believed was true as I worked my business and tried to gain network marketing success . But why was it that I was always running into a lot more “wrong people” than I was “right people.” I found this quite frustrating to say the least.

One of the “strategies” I tried was the 3-foot rule….you know, if people are within 3 feet of you for more than 3 seconds, you throw up on them about your fabulous network marketing opportunity.  Then I refined this strategy so if anyone was within 3 feet of me in some line or whatever, I would figure out without even talking to them that they were the “wrong person” so I wouldn’t need to waste any time talking to them. This saved me a lot of time….or so I thought. Continue reading “Finding the Right People for Network Marketing Success”

Law #1 The Law of Vision

Wealth is in the laws. If you follow the laws, you will find wealth. Law #1 from the 12 Laws of Success is the Law of Vision. Most people have no vision. Ninety-five percent of the population is either dead or broke by the age of 65. For without a vision, we perish. Only 5% of the population are doing well or extremely well financially at age 65.

What is the difference between the two groups? The 95% group shrinks their dreams to fit their income. Only 5% of the population find ways to expand or increase their income to make their dreams become a reality. Ninety-five percent of the people do not know what they want and they complain about what they have. Continue reading “Law #1 The Law of Vision”

Invest in Yourself: True Wealth and Go90Grow

Everyone has an idea of what true wealth means to them. Certainly it means being wealthy, financially free, and having time freedom. True wealth also means that you have the ability to replace your wealth should circumstances cause your wealth to be diminished. It’s about investing in yourself and your skill set. Go90Grow does just that.

Invest in Yourself and Your Skill Set

Take David Beckham for instance. He is an exceptionally skilled professional soccer player. He is the best of the best. Many years went into developing the skill and expertise he has today. If he lost the wealth he has accumulated over the years, he has the skill set to earn it all over again.

True wealth is about investing in yourself and acquiring the skills you need to be successful – massively successful. Network marketing is a skill-based business. If you’ve chosen network marketing as a business, whether part-time or full-time, treat it seriously and get the skills you need to be successful. To earn the big bucks, you need to be a skilled professional, not an amateur. Continue reading “Invest in Yourself: True Wealth and Go90Grow”

#1 Most FAQ by Prospects: “Does MLM Work for Average People?” by Mark J

This question is the most commonly asked question by people looking for network marketing help. Over 1000 people a day Google this question in one form or another.

Can you blame them?

Between all the ‘high ticket’ programs ripping MLM (multi-level marketing), the ‘new school’ bashing for MLM and the promises riches for doing little …..it’s not hard to figure out why this ended up in the #1 spot.
When we add to it the general humility most people have, mnay people think they have a skill or two, and nice part of their personality…..but most people consider themselves average.

Makes perfect sense folks would want to know if ‘average’ people can make it.

GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS

If you’re like most people, and I am like most people, you want the bad news first.

No, the average person cannot make it in network marketing.

Don’t get your panties in a bunch….there is good news too. Continue reading “#1 Most FAQ by Prospects: “Does MLM Work for Average People?” by Mark J”

14th Most FAQ by Networkers: “Does Social Media Work for Network Marketing?” by Mark J

SOCIAL MEDIA? IT’S A HOT BUTTON

I’m going to make it hotter…..

The prevailing attitude about social media is ‘gotta have it to survive’ and I’m not going to debate that one way or the other.

Everybody seems to want to jump on this bandwagon.

People who want real network marketing help will love what they read next……people who want excuses to not do the real work will hate what they read next.

Social media is a nice arrow to have in your quiver but…..for most people who want to build a big business and for people who have built big businesses……it’s a distraction and built-in excuse maker.

Improve Yourself This Summer: 5 Must-Read Books

If you find yourself on a plane, at the beach, or just lounging around the pool this summer, it’s the perfect time to enjoy some great books that will inspire you to improve yourself. Personal growth is key in attaining (and maintaining) success in your personal and professional life. Whether you’re a networker, an entrepreneur, or a business owner, you should be reading at least 10 pages of a good book daily. If this isn’t your habit yet, summer is a great time to begin. Here’s my list of 5 “must read” success books to help get you started.

The 4-Hour Work Week1. The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss

The 4-Hour Work Week became an overnight success when it was first introduced because of the unconventional “mobile lifestyle” it recommended. The four sections—define, eliminate, automate, and liberate—show you how to streamline your life and your business. Now expanded and updated, it’s full of information on how to think like a true lifestyle entrepreneur.

Think and Grow Rich2. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill was called upon by billionaire Andrew Carnegie to interview the most successful businessmen of their time and find out how they achieved great success. Hill discovered 13 common keys to success, all of which can be learned. (Good news for us!) Think and Grow Rich is one of the best-selling books of all time.

Use the 80/20 Rule for Successful Empowerment

For those of you in networking businesses, summer usually means a decrease in sales and sign-ups due to people going on vacations or otherwise not focused on business. You can use an important principle as a successful empowerment strategy and grow your business during those times when others are seeing a decline.

The Pareto Principle

There is a principle out there called Pareto’s Principle, which has been known in the last decade as the 80/20 rule. There is a way to use this rule for successful empowerment in your business and grow your business during the summer, rather than see a decline in revenue. The 80/20 rule states that 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. Applied to business, this would equate to 80% of your sales come from 20% of your clients or 80% of your results come from 20% of your effort. You get the idea. In 1941, a business-management consultant named Joseph M. Juran named this principle after the Italian economist, Vilfredo Pareto, who observed in 1906 that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population. Changing Habits to Improve Yourself by Tracy Sitchen

Posted on May 27, 2011 by Tracy Sitchen

Whether it’s about giving up smoking or learning to be more patient with others, most of us have habits we want to change. The actual process of changing habits, well, that’s another story. Entire books have been written on the subject and hit the bestseller list. When boiled down, however, all of these self-help volumes come down to three basic tenets:

Think baby steps

Believe you can fly all you want, but actually changing a dozen hard-hitting habits overnight is a feat few have accomplished. Change is gradual; violent change can have destructive consequences. An example, by cutting out sweets and carbs entirely out of one’s diet at once is a recipe for a later binge or even an eating disorder.

Instead of vowing to wake up three hours earlier every day, start with half an hour or even ten minutes every week. Decide to change just one habit at a time; by the time you have made or unmade a new habit, you’ll know that it’s possible and be ready to take on your next challenge.

How long does it take to form a habit? Thirty days? Twenty-eight? The truth is that no psychologist knows for sure or are willing to tell you. Changing habits takes a different amount of time for everyone under different circumstances. There is no magic number. All you can do is read the rest of this post and strive to change one habit at a time, over time. Continue reading “Changing Habits to Improve Yourself by Tracy Sitchen”
