Your Internal Blueprint – Week 2

The first step in achieving any worthwhile success in your business or life is to make sure that you have an authentic written “definite major purpose.” What is your goal? What do you really want? Maybe you’re like most of us who sincerely desire success, but real success always seems to be happening to other people, but not to you. Do you ever feel resistance from within as you start to move towards your goal? Is it a struggle to stay consistent with the actions you know you need to do in order to be successful? If this applies to you, most likely you have an internal “blueprint” that is not programmed for success. Maybe you’ve taken the time to attend business meetings, seminars, conference calls, and webinars to learn strategy after strategy, but still you struggle. You even know all the “success ideas” such as – write down your goals and stick them up all over the house, or attend all the weekly calls and trainings that your company has, or my personal favorite – make sure you have “a why that makes you cry.”

Well, I was crying alright, but not because of my why. It was because it just seemed too hard to stay focused and make real, consistent progress to gain the success (and money) that I desired. I knew I somehow needed to “manage” myself because I could feel the resistance inside when I tried to do what I needed to do. Yet for all my struggling, I had a bountiful supply of “head knowledge” about success tips, skills, and strategies that were doing me little good. So off to the bookstore I’d go to pick up yet another book to find the “real secret” to success.

Instead of layering practically useless head knowledge on top of your unsuccessful internal blueprint, you CAN begin to re-program your internal blueprint for the success you desire. Real success will then begin to show up in a tangible way and you will be begin to attain the goals that have been seemingly out of your reach for sometime. Re-programming your internal blueprint is a process and it will take some time and effort on your part, but it’s not a difficult thing and anyone can do it. To your success,
