Have you ever considered the fact that your personal philosophies where money is concerned, could be a hindrance to receiving the income or wealth you desire? Your “mindset for money” is a very important element in your overall prosperity, so take some time to really consider the areas below.
Here are eight questions to ask yourself to make sure you’re open and ready to receive the wealth you are striving for:
- Are you wise with the money you have? Do you build, invest in or buy assets? Or do you use your money to buy more things you do not need? Are you in debt and not serious about getting rid of it? Put first things first. It’s a spiritual law that if you can be trusted with little, you will be given much.
- Do you see yourself as having money or wealth? Even if you aren’t where you want to be, it’s important to begin to “think rich.” Jim Rohn has said that before he was wealthy, he used to tip well because he knew that one day he would be rich. Do you think Donald Trump or Robert Kiyosaki have faith? Do they get up every morning and struggle with deciding whether or not to take action that day to drive their businesses forward?
How are they able to get up every morning and not have to deal with managing themselves in order to take the actions they need to take? It’s because their personal philosophies or beliefs are programmed for success and the creation of wealth. You know this by their results. Before it showed up in their results, their beliefs were evident in their thoughts, words and actions. They both believed they could succeed and they did. Whether they realized it or not, they had faith that the results they desired would show up. Simple enough, right?

Wealth is in the laws. If you follow the laws, you will find wealth. Law #1 from the 12 Laws of Success is the Law of Vision. Most people have no vision. Ninety-five percent of the population is either dead or broke by the age of 65. For without a vision, we perish. Only 5% of the population are doing well or extremely well financially at age 65.
What is the difference between the two groups? The 95% group shrinks their dreams to fit their income. Only 5% of the population find ways to expand or increase their income to make their dreams become a reality.
